1 #6 US (4 mm) 16 inch circular needle
2 #5 US (3.75 mm) double pointed needles

GAUGE
22 sts/28 rows = 4″ in stockinette st on size 6 needles -  this gives a firm fabric, less likely to stretch out of shape.
