A Clowder of Cat Sweaters

You can make a regular old cat, or a Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day cat with the templates provided – the choice is yours!
Once you have the basic cat chart completed, the rest is plain stockinette. The body is knit into the sweater, with the eyes, nose, whiskers and outlining added in duplicate stitch afterwards.
The Halloween sample shown has a picot bind off at the neck, and the Valentine cat has a regular bind off.

MATERIALS
Any worsted weight yarn that gives the specified gauge can be used. The yarn used in the samples was Red Heart Soft 1 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins, and Caron Simply Soft 1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins.
